Coming for harness racing?

The 126th Annual Fair has wrapped, but the grounds are not closed for the season. PFHHA harness racing runs at the grandstand on September 19 and 20. The address, parking and accessibility notes below all still apply; the gate hours and prices are the ones that only run during fair week.

Hours During Fair Week

Gates open daily at 9:00 AM
Exhibit Hall opens 9:00 AM (noon on Sunday)
Commercial buildings open noon - 11:00 PM
Midway runs 5:00 - 10:30 PM the second week (opens 4 PM Friday)
Grandstand events most evenings at 7:00 PM

Parking: $2.00 per car
Gate: $12.00 per person (Mon-Sat)
Sunday was free Somerset Trust Day
Seniors: free parking and admission Friday 9-11 AM

Accessibility

Wheelchair-accessible paths throughout the fairgrounds. Service animals are welcome (pets are not). Restrooms and water stations marked on the printed map at the gate.

What to Know

First Aid & Police are located at Building #2 on the fairgrounds map. Grab a printed map at the gate or check the sketch of buildings in the premium book.
The midway is run by Penn Valley Shows, open nightly through the second week of the fair.
Motorsports events (derby, pulls, drags) are produced by Appalachian Outlaws Motorsports.
ATMs on site, but many food stands are cash-only.
No outside food or drink in the grandstand area.
Smoking is restricted to designated areas.
Lost & found is at the Fair Office near the main gate.
